During the initial stages of the design process, it is crucial that the basic workflows, goals, assumptions, point-points, and scope are identified correctly.
While the workflow can change a bit during successive sessions, understanding the initial workflow is very important. Here are some examples of the workflows of some features in Project Cortex.
Typically, I like to use different colored sticky notes (if available) for different kinds of steps/processes:
- Yellow notes – Main steps in the workflow
- Pink/Red notes – Pain points, assumption
- Blue – Topics/headings
- Orange (or other colors) – Repeated steps in the workflow (or special annotations)
